Over May 20-22, 2022 OKC Sandlot 12U Blue went to battle at the Battlefields Shootout.  French and Morton took the mound in game 1 and helped secure the 12-3 victory.  Game 2 was eventful, taking the lead late in the 3rd inning.  Swanson hit a solo homer and Downing was awarded winning pitcher in game 2.  Warn led the crew on the mound in game 3 surrendered 1 run and striking out 3..while Atchley contributed to runs batted in.  Game 4 was the biggest obstacle for the crew, down 6-5 in the bottom of the 5th inning-Mayhew homered on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs and securing the trip to the ‘ship.  The final battle.. Impson’s bat was on fire-driving in 3 RBIs, Carter was lightning fast stealing 3 bases, and Horne was the winning pitcher for the team.
